adapt FOGRA39L to be UV-cut compatible?
« on: November 29, 2011, 07:48:23 am »

I read that the FOGRA39L needs to be measured with non UV-cut device, is there a way to adapt it?
Perhaps there is a FOGRA39L spectrum data somewhere?

"If the measurement devices do not comply with these specifications and work with UV cut filter for example, then the characterisation data provided by Fogra [e.g. FOGRA39] cannot be used as target values without a previous correction."

Spectral data:
http://www.fogra.de/fogra-standardisierung/fogra-charakterisierungsdaten/fogra-charakterisierungsdaten-download/a-download-der-fogra-charakterisierungsdaten.html

Idea to correct it:
http://www.basiccolor.de/basiccolor-improve/

The FOGRA is not spectral, it is LAB XYZ data. I thought that basiccolor-improve can correct only spectral data. Furthermore how can basiccolor-improve help me? I have UV-cut spectrophotometer?
