Old vs new compact sensors

I have published an article about my lack of comfort with the new imagers on small-sensored compacts, relative to output from digital cameras from years gone by. Would love some comments.

Ahhmmm... maybe
your own
conclusion is to blame for the lack of comments:
"What’s my point? I ‘m not sure there is one..."
Usually people react to strong points, or at least
some
points.
