I couldn't come to a decent HDR image so far... and I've tried Photomatix and Photoshop.

When you really want a HDR, it is tragic... posterization, ghosts, color distortions etc.

I'm buying a Grad filter and will try to do the best exposures... HDR is a problem for the Camera Industry in my opinion.

Great shot.
The one thing about long exposure rivers and wavy ocean is that the upper part of the image is hard to match with the amazing colors and texture of the water.
It is all about composition and lighting.
