Calibrate Eizo with 2 computers attached ??
« on: November 22, 2011, 04:03:58 pm »

I have a PC connected to input 1 on my Eizo ColorEdge monitor and have just connected a PC on input 2. I can switch from Mac to PC with the touch button at the front. Monitor is connected to the Mac with USB and calibrated with EyeOne Pro & Eizo Color Navigator. So far so good!

Now I would like my monitor to be correct and calibrated also when using the PC input. But the PC has no USB connection to the monitor, because the monitor is connected to the mac.

Can I just plug the USB cable in the PC when calibrating from this, and then back to the Mac again when finished? Color Navigator is controlling the monitor hardware when calibrating, but will it also need the USB connection once the calibration is done?

- Or what is the solution here ??

Yes, you should connect it via USB to the computer you're calibrating it from. Once the calibration is done the USB connection is not necessary.
