Awhile ago I purchased an NEC Multisync LCD 2690WUXi monitor along with their Spectraview profiling system which consisted of the Spectraview II software and the Eye-One DIsplay 2 calibrator puck. I have the monitor profiled and am very happy with it.
Recently I purchased a T520 Lenovo lap top with the i7 2630 CPU, 8 GIGS of RAM and the FHD screen that they offer (for a $200 premium). I bought it primarily to run Lightroom 3.5 and Photoshop CS5. I need to profile it, but the Spectraview II software won't do it (I tried: it doesn't recognize the "monitor").
On researching the X-Rite site I discovered that the i1 Display 2 is a discontinued item. The software mentioned in conjunction with it is iMatch 3, which I don't have and can't see any way to get.
Is there any way I can solve this without investing in a whole new profiling kit? I remember somewhere on this forum it being mentioned that X-Rite had some free software available but I have lost the details.
Appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
