The real question is whether there is any disadvantage to the 50MP sensor.

Well, the disadvantage is that it costs more than the CFV-39. As the 39 was more expensive than the 16.

Once we had a choice, now the choice narrows yet again.

And the good old KAF 39000 does have a rather nice quality about it, which many others have noted in its P45 incarnation. The way it reacts at the tipping point of over-exposure is very film-like, it seems to me.

Hi James,
Sorry I'm only familiar with the 16,22, and 39mp backs, but maybe ask over at http://www.hasselbladdigitalforum.com/
This forum does have a lot of MFDB users but there are more over on the other forum and I find that a great resource.

I do know that WRT the 50MS vs 39MS, that I've been told that the 50 is 'better'.
