The maximum print size on a 3800/3880 is 17" x 37.5" using the Epson driver. If you use a RIP there should be no limit on the length. When printing longer than 37.5" you may run into issues with paper alignment resulting in skew errors. I have printed sheets that are 13" x 40" to print panos that are 12" x 37.5". They printed perfectly.

Well that clears a few things up. Now that I know I can print larger, I have to find larger paper. I don't see much selection with sheet paper, so that means rolls. However since the 3880 doesn't have a roll feed, does anyone have suggestions on how I could rig one up? Normally I would not likely use beyond 17x25 paper, but there may be a few panos requiring larger paper

The best fit for the 3800/3880 is to cut your sheet from a roll and feed it as a sheet. Once the printer grabs the 'sheet' it can be draped behind the printer or propped against the wall behind the printer as I've done with my 3800 to print 37.5".

Red River has up to 13x38 pre-cut sheets and will custom cut for you but in general, cutting from a roll or jerry-rigging a roll holder behind the 3880 is a popular alternative.
