Crumpler 5MDH Bag Question
« on: November 04, 2011, 10:24:38 pm »

This question is rather gear-specific. However, I hope that someone can help. Can anyone tell me if the Crumpler 5MDH bag can comfortably accommodate the following:

Canon 400D w/ Sigma 17-70 attached (hood reversed)
Canon EF 70-300 IS USM lens (hood reversed)
Yongnuo YN468 Speedlite?

I realize that I could avoid this question altogether by getting the roomier Crumpler 6MDH instead. But, for me, smaller is better while on the road.

Thank you so much.

I'm going to guess yes.

I've got the 6MDH, and it will hold a 1Ds III with 24-70L mounted + hood reversed, a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, and a 580EX II flash. Tight fit, but doable. Your kit is much smaller and I don't think the 5MDH is much smaller than the 6MDH.
