Foreground seems a bit crunchy to me.

Nice image but i think the tonal range is too similar throughout, some separation of tones/contrast might improve?

Interesting, pretty good, I think the post processing was just to aggressive.
The contrast and the rane of tones in not too good but i think the easies thing to correct would be to not sharpen it so much.
Otherwise very nice, beautiful place.

I have to agree with above comments. The image has the potential to be better, the issue is less than optimal post-processing.

Francois - Yes I agree as well.  B&W conversion is a skill that I am still trying to develop but with mixed success.  As I am red-green color blind you would think it would be a natural  but I clearly have a way to go.  Chuck

Maybe a little cropping to emphasize the diagonals?

Version 2 is definitely better, not least for the more natural looking sky.
While not above free-form cropping myself, my preference is to retain the original format.
