Rajan, I have a feeling I may be flying in the face of public sentiment on this one - but I really like the colour version (goes looking for the asbestos flame retardant suit)

They are really two different images, in mood at least.
I like the B&W for the way the lonely farm house stands out against the desolate background.
But I also like the color one. To my eye , that green is iconically Iceland.
So maybe I'd hang the B&W one on my wall Mondays through Wednesdays and the color one Thursdays through Saturday (leaving Sunday to pick whichever fits my own mood that day).

Nice. I'm curious as to what the colour version would look like if it was processed to be as dark and moody as the B+W.

Thank you all, for your remarks.
Josh, I like the colour image, too. As Eric says, it is quintessentially Iceland.

Interesting....this should make s excellent mono but somehow i prefer the colour and i think its because essentially of the light in the colour. This edit of the mono has limited tonal seperation/contrast giving the over all impression of been very dark....i suspect if you could separate some tones especially in the cliffs you'd have a mono winner
