Special Hasselblad Trade In Offer
« on: November 01, 2011, 04:29:14 am »

Hi LL,

Sorry for the sales orientated post, but this follows on from the rather heated Discussions on the H4x.

Anticipating that our current H3D and H4D owners would also like something nice for Christmas, we are pleased to announce a time limited offer on our upgrade program.

We would like  to offer any Hasselblad or other medium format owner a special deal: We have reduced the current prices on our trade-in programme, meaning a saving of up to €6,400 against today's current prices.

So those of you who were interested in adding True Focus functionality to equipment prior to the H4D then this is a much better cost to benefit proposition.

Not only will the H4D give you access to True focus, but the additional new features of the higher resolution display, one click focus check, rear display info (top LCD info displayed on the rear).  Not to mention owning a complete new camera.

Full details available from your Hasselblad dealer. Don't delay as this offer is only until the end of the year.  (Period 2nd November to 31st December).

David.

I would prefer customers engaged with their dealers to get the correct and accurate pricing.

Maciej,

If a customer is interested, they will call their dealer, as that is their avenue for Hasselblad sales.

The reduction is as much as €6000+ depending on what you have and what you are upgrading too.

It serves no purpose to post a huge matrix.  If it raises questions then it is also unlikely I will be able to field them, thus adding to the disappointment.

Plus not everybody deals in Euros or dollars for that matter, and will be meaningless.

If you are personally interested, I suggest giving Moon Camera a call.

David

This is a very good deal and like other recent announcements from Hasselblad shows that there is a new and very commercial approach being taken.  Full marks too for walking into what some may call the "lions den" and posting these announcements.  I would like to think that for every aggravating and irritating person who responds on this forum in a negative or querulous way there are a hundred quiet photographers out there using Hasselblad equipment and appreciating being kept informed without wishing to get involved in any squabbles.

Keep it up.

Who knows Edmund!

If you are referring to my announcement, then essentially we have made a reduction in prices on our trade in program. This is for existing customers and third party owners such as yourself.  So give Hasselbald France a call. ;)

Edmund,

I gave them a call.
First the nice lady said there was nothing new, then she said yes, they are deciding now at headquarters and they will soon have some news.

It would be nice if MF guys behaved like C and N - somehow I always got along better with C and N transparent pricing.

My bad Edmund.  I was a bit premature on my posting!  Jumped the gun a little.

Anyway, Hasselblad France should be able to supply you with pricing ASAP.

Brendan,

You can speak with Jim Rooney about the possibility of a trade-in. He's the NYC/East Coast rep.
