Some good news in the war on photography

http://www.apbweb.com/featured-articles/2076-federal-court-oks-citizens-right-to-film-police.html

From the ruling by the First Circuit Court of Appeals: "Gathering information about government officials in a form that can readily be disseminated to others serves a cardinal First Amendment interest in protecting and promoting "the free discussion of governmental affairs."

Let's hope that those law enforcement agencies that were unclear on the law actually take note of this, and act accordingly.

Three cheers for the First Circuit. This is a turnaround for sure.
