Where to buy a complete media kit?
« on: October 15, 2011, 09:07:31 am »

I found this company that sells a fine art inkjet paper media kit (with photos printed, not just blank sheets). But they only offer 10 varieties.
Does anyone know where one can buy a more complete kit with more varieties and more brands? With sample photos of course. I'm overwhelmed by the variety of papers on the market and am looking for a way to  speed this up.

the most 'complete' sample pack I know of is from Red River.  they have an extensive line of papers and the sample pack is dirt cheap.

there are too many papers on the market so first figure out what look you want and how much you're willing
to pay per sheet.  You may love Epson EEF but it's very expensive.  You'll find that you'll tend toward
gloss or lustre or matte etc etc.  Then you can get more specialized sample packs.
