Printing on mat/Passe-Partou ipf 8300?
« on: October 04, 2011, 05:58:15 am »

Hi!

I just came over a quite good quantity of mat for a low price. 1,6mm high quality. Will mostly use it for framing but my thought was is it possible to print directly to this on a ipf 8300? If so how would i go about it?

First thing to do is to check the manual for media maximum printing thickness.
I recall it is something just under 1.0 mm.

Shouldn't be a problem?

Think you may have mills and mm confused.
31.4 mils is .78 mm Your materials is 1.6 mm or twice the thickness that printer will take,I think.
