R3000 canvas profiles
« on: October 02, 2011, 11:03:01 pm »

I have not seen any R3000 ICC profiles for any of the epson canvas rolls.  Has anyone found one that works?  I have a Colormunki which I presume can make an adequate profile as well. Are there any special tips that i need to follow when profiling canvas?

If you plan to coat your finished prints - highly recommended - you may want to make two profiles. One for the uncoated target and one for the coated target. Then you can perform some test prints, coat them and see which one gives you the best result.

Can’t imagine why you’d have any issues with the ColorMunki.

We are working on R3000 profiles for the Exhibition Canvas products.  I'll let all know when they are on the web site.

In the interim, you can certainly use the ColorMunki to generate your own profiles.

Thanks.  I had not thought about coating for the profile as well.

IF you’ll always coat the product, coat and build the profile with the coating on the target (not without).

Any progress to report on canvas profiles for the R3000? Can't find anything on the Epson web site or anywhere else.
