Need advise on polarizing filters

Is polarizing filters normal to use on tecnical cameras with digital backs?
Do they remove any of the shapness and fine details?
I mostly use Sironar digital lenses.
If this works well, what type of pola filters are best?

There is abso;utely no reason not to use PL filters with digi backs.
They will not remove any sharpness or fine details unless you've been cleaning yours with sandpaper or its so old that it is delaminating.
Most use circular polarizers.
