If your rough focus (rail slider lever) on your Sinar X, P, P2 or P3 is not tight or slides affecting focus, there are two brass bushings in each base of the standard that are the culprit. Either one or both of the bushings has broken.
From back when I used to service these cameras, I just found two new unused bushings to repair this condition. Last news is that from Sinar these were $16 each. I'll sell both lot for $25, shipped CONUS.
