Dancing Waves - Kerry Co. Ireland
« on: September 22, 2011, 12:05:24 pm »

Photo taken in May this year during a photo travel (or rather photo weekend in Ireland). The first day we had a nice sunset ...
It was taken from the cliffs on the Valentia island in Kerry Co. with a Sony A900 and Sony Zeiss 24-70/2,8

Very pleasing, classical landscape. I would try to bring out (lighten up) that trade-mark Irish green in the leftmost corner a bit.

I think that would just make the photo look very strange. The light was very dark and brooding and it would look odd if you had this brightened green field that didn't match the tone of the scene. Oops I forgot to say nice image BTW :D

I like the photo as it is. The waves are really dancing (excellent title) and give a very lively mood to this Terrae Finis landscape!
Well done

I really like this composition. The sense of motion is very powerful and adds to an already dramatic and nicely framed scene.

Tarting up or even making the green a tad, like 2% to 4% brighter would help that corner pop, but I don’t think many would get that implied Ireland.

It’s a really fine display of color and forms.

Mar, cielo, nubes...todo en su sitio. Incluso la dominante azul creo que es apropiada. Saludos.
