9900 Max length print?
« on: September 15, 2011, 10:20:04 am »

Hello all,

I know this has been covered on this forum, but I can't seem to find the thread. What I need to know is the maximum length that can be printed on the 9900. I seem to remember that the 90.5" length had been exceeded by some of you with the Epson driver without issue. I would appreciate any information on this matter.

Thank you,
Gary

this is not the answer you want, but get Imageprint, and there is no maximum length.
print the entire damn roll in one go if you care to!

From my very limited experience, length is mostly a limitation of how straight you align a roll of media into your printer.

My last few prints skewed very close, perhaps less than 1mm to the edge of the canvas -- I was literally praying near the end of the 64x64 job, that the entire job would not cancel itself at the last moment of printing due to skew error!

I believe there is a setting for disabling the Automatic Media Skew Check somewhere in the Epson printer menu.
 Good luck
