When in doubt, shoot.
« on: September 14, 2011, 12:01:52 pm »

You never know when you'll use a shot. Last year I saw this old truck and trailer just outside of Superior AZ and thought of a photographer friend of mine, Bob Estrin, who often photographs these old vehicles. I debated whether or not to stop as I had already shot what I was in the area for. But, what the heck, I might as well since I'm here. Many months later when Bob said he was putting lots of miles on his car during his photography travelling I remembered this image. I ended up adding his name to the trailer along with an image I took years ago of my father's old wooden view camera and tripod. Bob was thrilled with it and will use it on his web site. Maybe someone will donate to his new car fund.
Sometimes a shot from the past is worth a smile.
