« on: September 07, 2011, 10:32:13 pm »

I am new to the MF world and looking for a reasonably priced digital back for my mamiya 645 afdii.  I have been though the main websites looking and nothing that can come close to my budget. under 4k anyone have any direction to go or have one they would like to park with.

Thanks

Eyeboy has a Kodak DCS 645 (16mp) for 2k

ironfist had a p20 for sale a while back... Not sure if it ever sold tho.

In your price range I'd be looking at the PhaseOne P2(X) series. If you find a good back at a good price I THINK PhaseOne backs can be re-plated to go on different bodies.

I am selling a P30 back, for the V mount. Not sure how much it cost to re-plate to the M mount, but it could be expensive. For under $4K, you are probably looking at P20 or equivalent. P30 is ~$4600-$5000. P30+, or P40 and up are at least $8000 to ???
