Harvest
« on: September 02, 2011, 11:38:41 am »

I visited this place earlier this summer where I noticed the light was amazing during the evening. Unfortunatley I messed up those shots due to incomepetence using a polarizing filter. Whenever i've passed through since then i've noticed the light is very elusive. Yesterday though I think just happend to be there at the right time.

Hope you enjoy!

(I'm also thinking of doing something about the blown out sky, if I have some better material to work from in the other shots, but I don't wish to crop it out)

beautiful light but maybe a tad overdone on the saturation slider or is it slightly too warm?
The blown sky doesn't bother me, fits with how the light falls on the scene.

Thanks!
I've given it a treatment similar to the cameras(Nikon D90) "vivid" or "landscape" setting and a tad bit more warmth, as well as a little curves adjusment and more greens in the trees. I wanted to accentuate that golden hue and just make it "pop" a little more.
