Sony A77

Hi,

I'd like to asl Michael a few questions about this A77.

- About the EVF, when you say that it's the best produced so far, are you including the GH2 also?

- Do you think or "smell" that Sony is going to be commited in DSLR video segment? Specs are serious but they went late into it. In other words, investing in Sony dslr for video in mind is a stable path?

- still talking about video, is it the same Sony mount as their latest FS100?

It's twice the resolution of the EVF on the GH2 and also is an OLED, which means higher contrast.

The video capability on the new Sonys is as advanced as any on the market.

Yes, it's the same mount. Not. My mistake. I was thinking of the NEX 7.

The Sony FS100 is E mount, which is shared with the smaller NEX cameras.  The A77 is A mount, which is shared with the Alpha DSLR/SLTs.  However, with the new LA-EA2 adapter, you can put A mount lenses on the E mount and have full phase detection AF.
