Jennifer, Yes. All four are good, especially #3 and #4. I'm grabbed particularly by #4. It says something about the emptiness of a life built on the need to hurry, and #3 speaks to lonliness in the midst of a city full of light and people.

Keep shooting. You obviously understand, or as Riaan would put it, you "get" street.

Absolutely! But I like #1 and #2 a lot, too.

#s 1 and 2 are interesting, but don't hold my attention for long.

#3 could easily be overlooked, but if thought about is actually quite artistic and very deep ... it is almost like a dissection of what comprises a city ... showing the basic "outside" buildings with their lights and majesty .. and then show a private "inside" look at the lonely people who go in to fill them up, day and night ...

#4 is a home-run, instantly gripping, almost like showing one of those "lonely city people" asking himself, "What am I doing here?" in this busy, cement-and-plastic world ...

That is my interpretation anyway :)

I think that 2 is a wonderful pic, the hand is well placed and makes the image so strong. 4 is a cracker, tells a story but leaves the ending to your imagination.
