SpectraView Update Available - 1.1.08
« on: August 05, 2011, 11:48:39 pm »

Details HERE

Quote
V1.1.08: July 22 2011

Added support for the NEC P241W.
Information window title now shows the Target name.
Fixed frozen progress bar duing calibration.
Added new Diagnostics feature.
Mac OS 10.7 compatible by removing support for saving profiles to the write protected system folder.

There is also mention in the supported colour sensors of support for the new XRite i1 Pro - which, would on the surface appear to be a VERY good thing.

I dont have one of the new XRite i1Display Pro colorimeters handy to check it - would be great if anyone has one if they can confirm it is now compatible.

To get the SpectraView update just open spectraview (if you are on a mac) and go to help and select check for update.

XRite iOnePro is not the same as the XRite iOne Display Pro - blame XRite marketing for that stroke of product naming genius.

So just for the record the new iOne Display Pro is not yet supported.

That is most unfortunate....

I read that, for example, DTP-94 is now supported and automatically installed. I now that it was supported before, as I used it and it appeared in the list of supported devices. What does this than mean? Does the DTP-94 behave any different now?

Latest info that I have from NEC as of Thursday 8/4/11...

Michael

Thank you for your feedback.

We are planning to support the new X-Rite i1D3 sensor “iOne Display Pro” in a future update to SpectraView once the licensing issues have been worked out with X-Rite. I do not have a definite date for this yet, but it will probably be at least 2 months away. The “ColorMunki Display” will not be supported due to licensing restrictions by X-Rite.

Best Regards
