Up at my brother-in-law's cottage this weekend I played around with some macro shooting (Kawarthas, between Peterborough and Bancroft, Ontario). Enjoy.
And if anyone can name the species in these photos I'd be much obliged. The only one I am confident I have identified is the White-Faced Meadowhawk Dragonfly (Sympetrum obtrusum) - 3rd photo.
The first one is a wasp or hornet looking at it head on. And there are two photos of what are actually called Harvestman, commonly called Daddy Long legs in Ontario (it's what i thought they were called until I started reading up on them). Apparently there is upwards of 6,500 species of these things (Opiliones) world-wide.
