OT: Take an Indoors Vacation

If you need an hour's vacation, a still life can provide it.

 Just pick a few items off the table, place them near a window on a suitable backdrop, and you have your destination.

 As you set up the camera and play with the composition everything outside the viewfinder will disappear. You're on vacation.

 And when you get back, you 'll have a postcard to yourself, from yourself, to show where you've been.

 Now post this postcard as your screen backdrop, rest your eyes, and you'll be taken back there again.

That's a lovely vacation idea, Edmund, and a nice image too.

I've been playing some with vegetables while it was too hot to go outdoors. I'll try to put one up here soon.

We're always running away to some island for vacation.  This year, we're staying home.  The house needs cleaning, the garden is desperate for attention and I think it'd be fun to put together a little still life... ooh, maybe I'll even do a little motion work.  Nice idea!
