Re-processed to monochrome.

And made even better, IMHO. I wonder if you couldn't get a little more texture in the petals, though.

Thanks, maybe, it is quite an aggressive BW "style" so some subtlety is probably lost, when I upgrade my computer to run v8 I will be interested to add some of the new "grain" to see what happens. I've shot some on film (400H) as well that should be back in a week or so.

I'm having a blast using the Pentax 645z for soccer (football).

Pre-game for the Memorial Day match, with sparklers and flames and such.  Shot with the Z and 28-45mm VR lens Av, ISO400 2 stops under, then pulled back in Lightroom CC.  f/11 1/400th.

Notre Dame was definitely worth visiting.

Very nice Synn.  In contrast, the white stone used at Notre-Dame de Laon adds great luminosity to the interior.  2006 shot with Pentax 645N on Provia.

Beautiful, Janik! Thanks for sharing. I do like bright, airy churches. Dom zu Salzburg is probably my favorite (Although architecturally very different from the two we are talking about).

I like the way the light hits the crucifix behind the altar. Nice light, but Baroque is not my favorite  though.  My favorite cathedral is like the following (also an older film shot, Pentax 67):

Thanks for the compliment.

Beautiful!

Thanks.   Yours are nice shots of a different kind of cathedral.
