Beijing Lightning

Was shooting at the Park Hyatt in Beijing over the weekend and a large storm came through on Saturday night. The original file was completely overexposed and had to be brought down by two stops in Camera Raw. This has led to the lightning bolt appearing much larger than it was in reality.

It's an interesting photograph, but there's so much coma around the lightning bolt that I almost think the picture would be better without it. It dominates the scene so much that it just looks like a big gash through the middle of it.

I have to agree with Pop. It's unbalanced.
