Vista x64

I'm running ACR from Bridge, but hosted in Photoshop CS5 to maximize the RAM usage.

In the last few days, when trying to save TIFFs from ACR, I'm getting the error message "The file could not be created"

In the Save dialog, when I choose Save in other Location, after I browse to the folder I want to save the image to, the location path does NOT appear next to Save in other Location. It remains blank.

I can ONLY save files in the same location. i.e. where the RAW files are located. I use one internal drive for RAW files and one for Edited Files. It's the Edited Files drive I can't save to. The C: drive is separate from these.

I don't know whether the problem is with the drive I'm trying to save to, with Bridge, ACR or CS5.

There are no space issues on any drives.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

D.

I've gotten this kind of a message before. I think all I did was to restart my Mac so that all memory would be available anew.
