This BS marketing campaign keeps popping up all over the place. Rapid Prototyping has been around since the 80's.

But maybe this is the beginning of mass commercialization when we'll all have one on our desks...

Here is an example of accessible customized manufacturing.

As I said in another thread about these printers that small ones are even in schools. So definitely not revolutionary possibly evolutionary.
