Camera to Print & Screen
« on: July 11, 2011, 01:57:40 pm »

Here is a teaser video - actually the complete Introduction - of our latest Tutorial Camera to Print & Screen

Once again, the tutorial will be published incrementally as I finish the editing of each major segment.

The first segments on setting up a new printer and Image Quality will be available on [EDIT]: August 8th.

All owners of the Fine Art Printing Tutorial From Camera To Print (2008) now have available to them a 15% off coupon for Camera to Print & Screen that has been placed in the final file of the original tutorial in the file named CameraToPrint_Extras_2.zip

PS You'll get to see a new shirt or two...

Hi Chris

I'm unable to download the file as the system says that the download link expired on 07/28/2008 (later downloads, like Lightroom 2, do not appear to have an expiry date for the download).

Any chance of owners of the original Camera to Print downloads having the download expiry reset?

Yep - no problem.

I have reset all the files via the shopping cart software. Let's see if it's smart enough to apply that update to your order (and everyone else's  ???)

Would you log out of the Store and try again?

BTW the URLs in the C2PS Discount coupon PDF file will become 'live' on or before August 1st.

Today they just return a 404 Error page since nothing is published yet

Hi Chris

Thanks for trying to reset the download expiry dates, but I'm afraid that didn't work for me.

I've logged out, deleted all relevant cookies and cleared my browser cache, but all to no avail; the download link expiry dates are still set to 2008, and therefore no longer valid.

I'll leave this in your capable hands.

Regards,

Andy

Morning Chris,

I need to add that I also noticed there is no discount coupon.
It just comes up and states download (CameraToPrint_Extras_2.zip) has expired.

I have reset Andy & Stuart's orders. Looks like we'll have to do each old order manually, so if others are interested in the C2PS discount coupon, give us a head start on August 1st's publication date. Send an email titled 'C2PS Coupon' to customerservice AT luminous-landscape.com

I was reminded this morning that I am on a family holiday August 1st - Computer time verboten!! ;D

So, begging your collective patience (something I do regularly...) I will delay the introduction of Camera to Print & Screen until Monday, August 8th.

All Camera To Print orders have been reset to make the final file: CameraToPrint_Extras_2.zip available for download.

This .zip file contains a PDF with the C2PS discount coupon.

Please let me know here if you find CameraToPrint_Extras_2.zip still unavailable.

I was interested in purchasing "From Camera to Print & Screen", but concerned that my download speed doesn't usually exceed 3.6mbps, althought meant to be 6 (don't live in urban area) Where I live, changing ISP not likely to improve things and difficult for contractual reasons anyway. If I purchase and find download impossible, can I get a refund?

"Customer satisfaction is guaranteed and refunds cheerfully made!" - well almost cheerfully  ;D

The file sizes for the first 5 downloads which are in place, are not huge (nothing like downloading CS5.5 which took me three days).

Zip file sizes in the 170 to 250 MB range - not terribly arduous.

The total size of all 35 to 40 zip files will be up there tho'!

But I don't expect to have a fully completed product until well into late 2011, so there will be lots of time for the downloads.

Chris, perhaps I'm blind and I missed any statement, but I'm wondering what will be the price for the complete package when buying directly after the first package will be available ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks.

The price will be $49.95 but with various discounts available:
10% off while incomplete - plus
15% off for From Camera To Print owners.

So for those customers, the price will be just under $40
