University Project - Wales
« on: July 05, 2011, 03:48:39 pm »

I'm studying Documentary Photography in Newport, Wales, UK.

This is one of the images I submitted for the final project of my first year.

What does the image say to you?

Thanks for any comments.

Nice frame. I can make all sorts of speculation about the socioeconomic conditions under which these kids must live, but it would be just that - speculation. A single frame from a documentary photo essay rarely tells the complete story, and what seems obvious from one image may be completely untrue when viewing the whole story.

Do you have more photos to share? Was this part of a long-term project with a single family?
