i1Profiler Tray

The update version 1.1.1 has a new wrinkle, a tray icon has appeared (Win 7), no configuration choice given.  Seems innocuous enough, allows one to set a monitor profiler reminder or launch i1Profiler, but I object to software companies that do such with no notification or programatic means to disable.  Can delete shortcut from start menu, but who knows what else it might do.

I agree and have said so in the past which has fallen on deaf ears. I find it unacceptable to automatically load auxiliary software without asking the user. On the Mac, 1.1.1 loads a startup in the Accounts which is a no-no. The installer should ask! The user should have the ability to control this.

Agree with Andrew about this application.

I've removed it from startup on a couple of Macs - no problem in that I can activate it when needed.

It seems to come with the assumption that I'll be using the software so often that I'll want this little helper :-)
