The Digger Bee spent the night on our Milkweed plants and we met again at dawn. These are solitary bees much like a nuclear family rather than a community hive. He stayed over and his wife was probably worrying about him or vice versa.

On my screen the bee is upside down? Still crisp though.  ;)
