Author Topic: How to view a photo that has been processed in part color and part B&W.  (Read 3392 times)

After processing my photo where everything is black and white except an article of clothing, I go to my Windows Live Photo Gallery to view the photo just like I do every other photo I process.  For some reason, though, the processed photo will only show up in B&W even though it processed in part color/part B&W.  Am I doing something wrong?  I really appreciate the help.  Thank you!

Capture One 6 and it saves in a tiff.

You're using the Color Editor and you've checked the "view selected color" box, but this is a VIEW of the image only (to make is easy to identify which colors are included in the color patch you've selected). Uncheck that box, invert your selection (one of the icons towards the bottom of the color editor), and then add -100 saturation.
