I'm struggling with all sorts of gear related decisions these days, and I would definitely appreciate some help.
The title says it all : I'm looking for tech lens to be used possibly on a Leaf 12 R / Arca-Swiss Rm3di combo, for usual short telephoto applications. To my absolute dismay, the MFD distances on most 150-180-210 tech lenses optimized for digital (Schneider-Rodenstock) are around 3-4 meters , and it appears there is nothing else out there.
So a couple of questions :
1 As the thread title says it, what are my options for headshot tech lenses, optimized for digital (high pixel density) sensors ?
2 Any experience using the Rodenstock 120 Macro Digital (or it's Schneider counterpart) at other working distances than typical macro (we're talking 1:10 to infinity) ? Is it any good ? How would you compare it to a Phase-Schneider 110 LS lens, for example, at those working distances ?
