ipf 8300 best settings?
« on: June 15, 2011, 04:11:49 pm »

Hi!

Is there anywhere i can read how to get the most out of my printer? Atm the pics come out a bit darker than my screen.

there is alot of setting im unsure of. I've found tons to read about the epson printers with various settings.

Im using the canon cs 5 plug in.

Im confused about print mode. Diffrence between highest and highest max no of passes

Macthing method, what to choose?

high gradation 8 bit or high gradiation 16bit?

Any other tips, what resolution to print with and so on.

Try http://canonipf.wikispaces.com/. Also I recommend buying a copy of the Luminous Landscape "From Camera to Print" videos, at http://www.luminous-landscape.com/videos/camera-print.shtml. Sounds like you need to spend some time getting up to speed on the basics of printing, and both resources will help a lot.
