They wrote, they are restructuring their website (basically making CLN a blog) and will make the old CLN issues available in english.

I finally got over to Fotocare to test the lens in question (50mm II vs. older 50mm). I shot some shelving that had boxes of Epson paper on it, and compared images on the screen at 100% magnification. The newer lens was a bit better in the corners, but they seemed to be about the same in terms of quality and not worth the money to upgrade lenses, IMHO.
