Hi,
we have problem with z3100 not accepting magenta-yellow printhead. We got a new one and I've cleanded contacts and the carriage as described in the service manual and here, so I am pretty sure contacts are OK.
The problem it failed with is: 2.1:10 (Firmware TR12-TR_7.0.0.03; Subsystem:Patum Class Electronics; subclass Cariage Board; Error Horus 0 EIO DRACO_EX_CARIAGE_BOARD_HORUS_0_EIO File HciHorusHciBus.cpp Line Number 1105)
and before that it also reported: 58:10 (Printer color sensor is not working well, color reading may fail).
The technician will come at Monday and plans to replace the carriage assembly that will be expensive. I wonder if there is something else to try?
I've run the diagnostics. Cariage diagnostics fails testing Pen Voltage (at error 2.1.10).
Interesting also is that diagnostics of electronics reports PCA Rev. Voltake 0.77, while the screenshot in the manual says PCA Rev Voltage 1.42
I am not sure if this is normal or not (i.e. if the screenshot is for z2100), but half of voltage seems somewhat off the expected error.
Thank you!
Honza
