Yes, similar remarks by others in several threads on this Forum. I have also profiled both papers, looked at both in ColorThink Pro and indeed come to the same observations as you have - very little apparent difference. However, the latest batch of IFGS I bought was stated to be manufactured in Germany and the Canson manufactured in France. Doesn't mean they aren't the same recipe, but ostensibly they are not coming from the same paper plant. However, we could wonder whether both companies aren't sourcing the same paper from the same party in a third country. I'm told by one of my European colleagues that in the EU context the rules of origin are flexible enough to declare local manufacturing for a product which actually undergoes very little transformation where it is said to be made. So really not clear. Being hypothetical here - it would be a hoot to discover, for example, that both papers come from the same mill in China, one packaged in Germany, the other in France. Only their hairdressers know.
