I'm planning on camping in the Big Horns for a night or two so that I can get some sunrise/sunset/twilight shots. Can anyone recommend a campground? I've picked out a couple on HWY 16 outside of Buffalo but wanted to get some feed back.
You realize that you do NOT have to camp in a campground on National Forest managed land?? You can probably camp at the location of your shoot.
Here are the new rules for vehicle use and camping on FS lands: http://usbackroads.blogspot.com/2010/07/forest-service-boondock-locations.html

Don't forget that the Bighorn National Forest is prime grizzly bear country!!! So be careful out there.
