The Bighorn National forest is NOT prime grizzly bear country.
In 40 years of camping there I have never seen a grizzly bear!
There are a moderate number of black bears, so store your food in a safe place.
The bighorns are heavily forested, so a good photo location for sunrise/sunset shots is hard to find.
The Beartooth Mts about 40 miles to the Northwest are far more photogenic.
The Beartooth Highway is an amazingly scenic route.
It does have grizzlies though!
