SOLD: Mamiya Auto Bellow N - tilt/shift/swing
« on: June 03, 2011, 02:30:38 pm »

For sale is a Mamiya Auto Bellow N. It is built for Mamiya 645 camera, but with a cheap adaptor, you can use it with any moden DSLR. I use it on Nikon D700.
Among the tilt/shift bellows I have collected so far, the [marker]Mamiya bellow[/marker] is the ultimate one, make the DSLR works like a field camera with ultimate flexibilty. It can shift, tilt, swing.

Condition is excellent. The previous owner must be a smooker, but the unit is well cared and 100% functional. The only used signs I can see are under the tilt locking button, and the mounts. They came from NORMAL use. See large picture:

$500 or best offer
. Buyer pay actual shipping (from MN 55129, local pick up is prefered)

I collected a large number of shift/swivel bellows from Nikon, Minolta, Contax, Mamiya and various of bellows lenses/accessories. I am selling some redundant gears. Bellows can use any lens on any camera with cheap adapters. Here are some links that show how bellows can be used with modern DSLRs:

Are these for macro work only?
Do you get infinity focus also?
I have a couple of Mamiya manual focus lens I enjoy using with my 5DMkII.
This looks like it could be fun to play with as well.

Not all lenses can focus at infinity.  To my experience, with adapter (which increase the distance between lens and body), 135mm (like the Schneider) and above can do infinity.  See test shots here: http://hukai.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=10442
I can do infinity with the Nikon 105mm/4 bellow lens, on Nikon bellow (without adapter).  If you can short mount a lens, I think people achieved infinity focusing for 80mm lens.
Shorter lens are better for the macro.
