Recalibrating 9-year old EyeOne Pro?

I have a couple of EyeOne Pros that are going on nine years old. They've been treated gently and both appear to work just fine, but I'm wondering if there's any concern that they should be recalibrated? Not even sure if this service is available, or if there's any way for me to check the calibration and see if sending them in is warranted?

Make sure the lens is clean (you can carefully remove the front), make sure the target patch in the base is clean.  Run i1Diagnostics on each (http://www.xrite.com/product_overview.aspx?Action=support&ID=766).  If they check out ok, print out a target and scan with both and compare.

X-Rite would have you send in for check/calibration once a year, but in my experience they are fairly durable, stay stable for a long time if treated ok.  They are probably first generation, or maybe second, may run slower than today's version.  Check with X-Rite.

Ran the diagnostics and both passed. I'll try scanning the same target with both and comparing the results. One of the units is "Rev. A" and the other "Rev. B" - not sure if that should matter.

I have two older, also a RevA and a RevB, along with a newer RevD.  I believe when I bought the RevB it was advertised to run twice as fast, i.e. take twice as many samples per second as the RevA.  The idea is one can scan faster without losing accuracy.
