I am using a Nikon 16-35 mm f/4 with a Nikon G to Canon EF Adaptor Version 3.0 with AF confirm chip from 16:9 on my Canon 5DII. However the automatic exposure bracketing does not work properly with this combo. Taking single shots it seems OK, but using live view or multiple exposures where the three exposures should be taken immediately after each other AEB does not work. When using multiple exposure the camera shows a message that there is a failure with the connction with the lens. On my old Canon 5D it is no problem. Does anyone knows how to work around this problem? Or is it a problem with my adaptor?

Thanks for all input.

Well, no input - so I am answering my own request. The AF chip fell off and now automatic exposure bracketing is working. So everything is fine as I didn't use the focus confirmation after using live view.
