Thanks Bernard. Perhaps useful to mention it is Mac only for the time being, and Photoshop should be upgraded to version 12.0.4 (CS5.1).

After reading the material on Adobe's website, I haven't installed it. My computer is a very powerful mid-2010 MacPro, so my save times don't bother me, and I'm not keen on the larger saved file sizes. If it were easy to enable/disable file-by-file it would be more interesting.

I have had problems opening .psb files saved with this plug-in, it might be better to wait a bit more.

Error message when trying to open was something like layers not avaialble, do you want to open composite, followed by a version of Photoshop not supported.
