Canon 5d11 colour issue
« on: May 07, 2011, 04:09:33 am »

Hi

My canon 1ds11 colours always looked good no matter which raw processor I used.

My new canon 5ds11 has magenta type undertones. I have tried Lightroom and C1 with the same results. Is this normal? I see in lightroom there is the camera calibration section would this be the solution?

In Lightroom, try using the Camera Standard profile instead of the Adobe Standard in the calibration tab. (Of course make sure you are using Process 2010.) For me, Camera Standard helps with the magenta in many cases, especially skin tones.

Hi

Tried that but didn't have much effect. Got work back from another forum that cameras have had to be returned to canon for recalibration due to colour casts.
