Christoph,
A Rodenstock 40mm digital lens has an image circle of 90mm and a flange focal distance of 69.5mm per
http://www.rodenstock-photo.com/mediabase/original/e_Rodenstock_Digital_Lenses_3-26__8236.pdf
That is still a wide lens which is sufficient for 6x7 without movements only and short flange to focal distance.
You can also check Schneider here

It is worthwhile to review specs for your required image circle and focal, and for preferred and feasible focal to use on camera, then to research on net for quality and rendering. A 40mm will give larbe DOF on digital sensor and medium format film and thus may not necessitate movements or much such at all.
Regards
Anders

Possible I overlooked something here - however - before purchase I'll closely check the specs,
especially image circles, of course.
