Phase One IQ Series Shipping Feature List
« on: April 28, 2011, 12:48:58 pm »

We just received word that our first IQ180 demo unit is on its way from Denmark to us.

Along with that good news we were informed of what features are included in this unit. Also in addition to what we were anticipating, there have been a few pleasant surprises!

See (new features) below.

This is a good sign that they have shipped a limited number of demo units out on schedule. They said by the end of April!

Please keep an eye out for our first impressions.

Forgot to mention that USB connectivity and improved IIQS compression is due via a firmware upgrade in August.

Also they decided not to include the pinching gesture for zooming, they found that the single finger zoom is more functional.

I would also suspect it has something to do with Apple's patents on finger gestures - among them pinch zoom.

I just wanted to add that I received confirmation that the ISO35 and 2 minute exposures are exclusive to the IQ180.
